Couldn't find much on the ink-powder-tin, Ed. Devillers was an ink-manufacturer in Paris in the early 1900s.
The Allenburys Throat Pastilles tin is probably from the late 1800s (1850-1910) judging by their can-design-history. Although all the pictures I can find are from cans with rounded edges and mine has straight ones...
